50NL 87s Rivered Flush Faces Shove
Villain was about 50/20 over 20 hands or so. I actually hadn't noticed him until this hand but he had just doubled up from this table's resident village idiot who had now left. He had typed "ship it" in chat.
I checked Flop because I thought that there was no chance he would fold. His FCB was 20%, the flop hit parts of his range and, on OnGame, big stacks don't fold flops. I thought that the Turn was a pretty standard semi-bluff. He would fold here with nothing but I assumed he'd call with as little as a GSSD and maybe middle pair if he didn't believe me. Hit Flush on River but WTF? Re: 50NL 87s Rivered Flush Faces Shove
I call this all day against a 50/20. While this is his standard "get as much money in as possible in the hopes case he calls line", imo there's a much wider range of hands than a flush he does this with (set, straight, even possibly 2pr)
i just can't see myself folding here (his bet is about 13 dollars more than pot, so not the huge overbet the 103 dollars might lead) |

Re: 50NL 87s Rivered Flush Faces Shove
I would say "WTF?" because that's such a stupid bet, as I instacall and hopefully get shipped his money. No way will I fold this 4 handed and against a guy with his stats, albeit a small sample size.

Re: 50NL 87s Rivered Flush Faces Shove
Seriously tho... how often are these overbet open shoves bluffs?
i think 46 is his most likely holding that we beat, and if its 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] then.... just lol is all i can say. I call, but I really hate it tbh. Also deffo bet the flop. You are basically saying "when I check I dont want to bluff because you will call, but when I have a hand I want to bet because you will call" - Pretty transparent. |

Re: 50NL 87s Rivered Flush Faces Shove
I call the river sure but as said before, bet the flop. An FCB of 20% over 20 hands is generally not that meaningful.
