I also took that for a small bet and I also took Florida +7. Ohio has no answer. I dont understand how Ohio is a favorite in the 2nd half.

What's with all the people calling them 'Ohio'?
Everyone calls them Ohio State.
Type OSU for short if you want.
Or tOSU if you want to try to be funny.

To just call them 'Ohio' looks kind of ridiculous to me.
In fact, you're actually referring to a different school.

'Ohio' is for Ohio University in Athens.
'Ohio State' is for the one that's playing right now based out of Columbus.

I've been wondering this too. It seems bizarre.

Wow. Is the "State" that important? Is it confusing when someone says Ohio only when there is only one team from Ohio playing?

Everyone knows who you mean, it's just odd cause "OSU" seems way more standard.

Tonight, OSU could stand for Offense Sucks Unbelievably.

Go Gators!

Not hugely important. But just really strange to see it otherwise.

If you were talking about the York Yankees I would know what you meant.
But it would look really stupid since everyone knows them as the New York Yankees.

IMO, calling them the Ohio Buckeyes is roughly the same as saying the York Yankees.
