Default ($24) weird spot with JJ...

don't have HH
7-handed
50/100
JJ utg
stack: t1320
hero...
I shoved because a raise to 250 is awkward...if someone rr shoves JJ's pretty strong to fold and if someone reraises at all we're committed neway...limping sucks obv
thoughts?

I think JJ is strong enough to push UTG and 13BB + a lot of FE with a UTG push.

Shoving isn't bad but JJ is strong enough to open for a standard raise and call if anyone shoves.

so why is raising better than simply shoving?
and what're you doing with 99/1010?

I like a shove better than a raise, because if you are called it's an awkward spot out of position with a lot flops that just suck.

I think I'm shoving 99+, AQ+

88/AJ are borderline - I'm mucking everything else.

With almost 14BB I raise to 265 here 99% of the time and probably fold to a push if made by a decent player.

If called (which happens way more often than a push)check fold to any bet when overcards on the flop and push to any other flops.

Pushing PF is ok but you are still called by the same hands that u are afraid of with the downside that you give 5 cards to AK, that's why I prefer a call from AK.

I certainly muck AJ and 66 here, I think I actually push 77-88-99 and play as in my prev. post TT+.
Comments on my range? Is 77 a muck?

I'm pushing like 99+ AK in this spot.
