Gore wins vs. Hagel
Newt
Rudy
McCain

Would like to see Gore and Hilary on a ticket together to bring back the Clinton/Gore admin policies.

[/ QUOTE ]

Like, what policies?

Prominent political fundraisers who backed Al Gore's 2000 presidential campaign are reserving support for the current slate of 2008 Democrats in hopes the former vice president will swoop in for another White House bid.

Gore is a brillant debater? Who has he debated against? Quayle, Kemp and Bush?

Didn't he do really poorly against Bush?

All he does now is talk about one issue in front of a bunch of people who agree with him...

but on the other hand, he is super serial

I think Gore could win the whole enchilada. Edwards could win. Hillary and Obama could not win.

Everyone knows that I'm obsessed with climate change and I'm convinced it will be very very bad for humanity. That being said I think Al Gore is a moron and I'd hate to see him as president. Many of the solutions he's promoted are complete lunacy.

He couldn't win the presidency and here is why.

He has stated over and over this past 6 months or so that he will not run for president. If he ran for president I can imagine that would just give the GOP ammo they need to shoot down his chances.

[/ QUOTE ]

What he has actually said is that he "is not PLANNING on running" in that TIME article, he said that he'd only run if the other candidates looked extremly bad...And they do, so lets go Gore.

Wacki what is your take on global warming? Is it the cause of humans dumping mass co2? Is it just part of a standard global cycle? What actions should we take?

Wacki-

When did you stop being an expert on climate systems and start being an expert on agriculture, farming techniques, engineering, etc...?

By coincidence we watched Inconvenient Truth last night.

It would be an understatement to say I was not impressed. Tell me, what does Al's son being hit by a car or his sister getting cancer have to do with global warming?

It was total propaganda with Al cast in the role of the knight in shining armor.

The Poker Mom

[/ QUOTE ]

I liked the film and the man impressed me but I agree with you on what the heck did they have to do with the topic. Also yes the republican court handed the presidency to Bush but again global warming.
