Season ticket holder here. A few musings...

The atmosphere the last 2 home games has been absolutely electric. I suffered through many a game in Sun Devil Stadium with 25,000 fans in a 72,000 seat staduim. The noise level is off the charts and it's paying big dividends for the Cards on defense. The Cards still need to figure out how to win on the road but they are absolutely NOT a pushover at home any longer.

With protection Warner is still as good a passer as anyone in the league. Until this year the Card's OL has sucked big time and since Warner's mobility is essentially zero he wasn't working out. I think the QB platoon could continue to work well the rest of this season as Leinart continues to gain experience.

The Card's schedule is very favorable the rest of the season and now that the 49ers are being exposed as the frauds they are there is no reason the Card's can't compete w/ the Seahawks for the NFC West title.

Let's do it!!!

yep....I'm all for platooning the rest of this year

Warner seems happy to get his shots
Leinart is a young guy

loved the O-line

loved the crowd noise...actually got Pitt to false start a few times (also thought the left tackle jumped on the first Pitt td but I digress)

I do see one big problem in the SF, Balt, and Pitt games, the other teams are driving right down Arizona's throat in two minute drills....gah
shore that up and this team has a good shot at the playoffs

Yeah, the 2 minute drills on defense are definitely a problem, the team is possibly 4-0 without them. I'm also not a huge fan of Eric Green, he gets smoked way too much and probably cost us the win in S.F. But I haven't been this optimistic about a Cards team in almost a decade, so I'll hope they can get the problems ironed out. We finally have a coaching staff that has a clue so I think they will.

[/ QUOTE ]True dat. They stuffed PIT the entire game, then went prevent and let them drive down the field, just like against SF and BAL. They really have to stop going to the prevent defense.

Cardinals are a 3 point favorite on the road? That's a welcome change from usual.

Cardinals are a 3 point favorite on the road? Take the three points and bet your life savings on the Rams LDO.

First Place Arizona Cardinals! Didn't think I'd be saying that this far into the season.

They sure did play terrible today though. Lucky to get by with a win.

hope Leinart is ok...he played well except for that horrible pick

Warner also had a horrible pick

interesting game where the breaks went the Cards way
--Rams defender kicking that ball before the end of the first half
--Cards catching deflected balls
--Ferotte throwing the easiest pick 6 ever

still....always nice to win a road game in the NFL

Win 2 games by 3 points and lose 2 games by 3 points (the other by 7)---they aren't exactly overwhelming their opponents. otoh, they aren't being overwhelmed by them either which I guess is a step in the right direction. The team and franchise have to learn how to win first.
