Sweat Session Announcement.

Organised Sweaet Sessions are cancelled due to lack of response.

I was rather surprised there was so little interest given that there were quite a few of you who said you'd want to take part. Where did you all go?

No matter.

My only intent was to help offer a service which might help quite a few players. It would appear that whatever interest there was has dwindled.

Needless to say I'm not going to waste any more time than I already have in an attempt to furnish people with an opportunity which they don't want.

considering this forum is composed of a good percentage of college students, and it is time for finals, perhaps there is interest but school is just a greater priority?

I think there are probably many people interested in doing sweats, but the logistics of arranging your sessions to match those of another person are going to discourage people from making the committment.

Why not just start a list of people wanting to be sweated and those who would like to do some sweating. (you could be on both lists.) And if you list the sites you play on and screennames, aim, etc. people could look for sweat partners on a spur of the moment basis.

I think this is a good plan. Ive done sweat sessions before like this. We see each other online, I ask where he's playing and go sweat the session if he's up for it.

This is a realy good idea make the list with AIM or other instant messenger service names included so people can just get directly in contact when it works for them.
