Re: 100 NL; 54 flops bottom 2
Not much to do, you dont want the flush draw getting a free card, which is what this looks like, but for that price I think I have to call. This could be donk action for sure.

Either of you do anything different earlier in the hand? [/ QUOTE ] One way you can play this hand better is by making Math your friend. If on the Turn you can't trust your read enough to fold to a River club, then bet enough on the Turn to make calling any River card still be +EV. As played, Villain has close to proper odds to call your Turn bet assuming you call his River push. His immediate + implied odds are ~3.65:1. You can cut down those odds by betting the Pot on the Turn. That way, even if you always call the River in these situations your play with still be +EV. No decisions necessary. NLHTAP has a real good section on this topic. |

Re: 100 NL; 54 flops bottom 2
there is honestly nothing you can do here but call. youre getting almost 4:1 and its not like the 4:1 is a significant number of BB's. i call here 128% of the time for that price

Re: 100 NL; 54 flops bottom 2
I usually make it more than 2/3 on the turn with a cold call on the flop w/ flush draw
