new, but as yet undeposited, FTP account

help me out,

a friend has a FTP account, with his name on it, but has never deopsited, EVER.

1)a) can he list an affiliate (for rakeback) when he INITIALLY DEPOSITS on this already established (but never funded0 account?

b) or, does he need to start all over with a new account in wifey-poo's name, to be eligible for rakeback,(by listing the affiliate at SIGNUP, (rather than intial deposit)?

2) if the latter is the case would usig a checking account (albeit new to FTP) with HIS name on it disallow rakeback, or the deposit bonus?

b) or would he also need to use his MAIN joint checking account, and use HER name/number?

i believe he needs to make a new account with a new download (clear your cookies, etc beforehand). They can't switch a non-rb account to an rb one if it's already created. I tried.
