Results: Am I ready to move up?

I started playing SNGs on fulltilt earlier this month. I decided i'm going to start out just depositing $100 and playing $5, 9 plyr SNGs. I usually play 1-4 at a time. I've played 100 so far and I wanted to get an idea of what you guys think of my results, and if you think I should consider moving to the $10 SNGs, or if not, then at what point should I?

Thank you all for your advice. I realize my sample size here is pretty weak, so please don't state the obvious. Is my current bankroll enough to play at the $10 level, and if not then what should i be aiming for here.

Please don't make it impossible to give you an answer, by telling us what we can reply with.

What do I think of your results? I've think you've played 100 sngs so your results are meaningless.

Should you move up? Depends. Do you think you can beat a higher level? Do you have a bankroll for it?

I suggest this. Start 4 tabling sets (or continuous, just make sure you are consistently 4 tabling) of $5s on fulltilt. When your bankroll gets over like $700 move to the $10s. The 10s are still soft and you can drop back dpwn if your bankroll goes below $500. When I made this move, the tens played pretty much exactly like the 5s. Things may have changed a little now though.

The sample size is such that the results provide little indication as to "readiness." Since it's possible for one to play perfectly and run a -ROI over a hundred SnGs imagine what the upside variance can look like?

Devin's right the sample size is all that's relevant wher the stats are concerned- Think of it like this over 100 SnGs how many times did you end up 6 handed or less with a coinflip or 60/40 for your stack? I'm pulling this # out of thin air but the point is made all the same, say it's 30 times and for the sake of simplicity it balances to exactly 50/50. Can you imagine winning 20/30 one time and 10/30 the next? Convert 10 cashes to 4th or 5ths and see what happens to your roi? Now lose a few more of those same 60/40s itm and convert a few 1sts to 3rds and the like. Now do both at the same time...

Similarly the bankroll angle can't be adressed because it is a comfort thing- the lower the # of BIs the higher the risk of ruin. I play with a 50 BI roll minimum but usually more like 100-200 because I am risk averse (at least as much as one who plays as much poker as I do can be anyhow). So for bankroll, "readiness" is entirely personal-

With small limits I think that your skill is more important than your bankroll or small sample ROI. If you think that you can beat the 10s than try them out, 30 buy in isn't out of line. First I would post some hands, get some feedback from solid players, decide if you're playing well or running hot than make your decision. If you play 500 at the 6s (which isn't even that big of a sample size, but much more significant) with a similar ROI I would say you're probably ready to move up.
