Villian is KarlSpakler who is a good tag reg imo. I called here and decided it was just be a cooler if I ran into QQ+ or whatever. However, I'm convinced I made a mistake here, and if I wanted to get it all in, I need to bet the pot on the flop.

What did you put him on? Any legit all-in hands would not fold even if you bet pot.

I think you played it fine on the flop although I don't like the 3bet preflop.

MP2 is Hijack cuz they are playin shorterhanded. it appears MP2 is ISO-ing the UTG limper...we are taking advantage of that and 3b. pretty standard spot

Check the flop unless you know Villain to go broke with underpairs. There's really no reason to want to play this hand for stacks against a TAG.

the 3bet is ok, calling the AI is not. Karl is fairly tight postflop I wouldnt be surprized to see slwo played AAs set of JJs here

Folding to the push is marginal and maybe correct but bet/folding this hand is so idiotic in position. It's turning our hand into a bluff. That's why I say to check.

I just don't like AJs as a power hand like this. See above hand for example. If an Ace hit instead of a Jack, then we probably aren't getting paid by KK or QQ. Villain could be making a move on the FD as well, but this situation could have been avoided pf IMO.

That said, I do need to improve this part of my game (3betting).
