Default How much do you want to bet he doesn\'t have AJ?

Villain is a 55/25 LAG. He likes to coldcall my raises and raise UTG (6-max) with very weak hands, but I don't recall seeing a 3-bet out of him. The times we have tangled haven't been all that interesting. He seems pretty loose on the flop and pretty weak on the river (checked behind top two when the board paired not his card). How much action is enough action?

:g:
AA,KK,QQ, (AKs) is still within his range but raising any more will allow him to start thinking of folding stuff that is behind?

I would invest 2 BBs. Its not really WAWB, I dont think he is folding and the flop is drawy but because he will raise everything you are behind to it sort of plays that way.

I guess what you might be implying is since he doesnt 3bet pf much vil's range is heavily weighted toward overpairs rather than AJ or 22.

Flop's a cap fo sho

Between call turn + bet/call river vs. 3-bet/showdown whatever it seems like both options are close in EV if villain is showdown bound.

If he's capable of a FSDR play with two pair, then I wouldn't 3-bet.

One more cap is easy enough.

I call a reraise on the river.

grunch

Hero raises. Anyone who doesn't 3 bet often and cc alot has AA KK or AK when they finally do decide to 3 bet. If he caps the turn that is when I would start to worry.

aaron, i would 3bet the turn because it's 6max and laggy 6max villains don't think about backing down until the big bet streets (or so i've heard).

alternately, if this were on absolute, i'd suggest he has JJ and you should fold.

Aaron. Just call the raise

22 and AJ is in his range and only a moron is raising the turn with AA here.

Also, be careful about assuming that 50/25 guys are terrible postflop pr definition. Often they will have a brain and not play much worse than your average TAG trying to play good.

Unless he is a moron you have a crying call down after the turn raise.

Second to folding too much, giving too much action to LAGs is the leak I notice the most in 6-max. Anyone who wants to 3-bet this turn based on the info in OP should revise his play vs LAGs.

Oink, I just had a guy do that very thing when I had pocket nines on a full house flop. He capped the turn and called my 3 bet on the river with the Aces.
