Default Bodog removes Neteller as deposit option

Just checked Bodog and they have removed Neteller as a deposit option. Neteller is still there as a withdrawal option however.

Also, someone on RGP is reporting that he just spoke to Bodog CS and they told him that they are no longer taking
deposits from US customers. I don't know if this is true or not.

I would be surprised if this were true.

I noticed Neteller deposit option was gone from Bodog and emailed support. Here are the replies:

---------------------------------------
Dear Brent,

Thank you for contacting Bodog Poker Customer Service.

As you may already be aware, we are no longer able to process deposits
from Neteller. We know that you have used this method recently to fund
your account and wanted to reassure you that payouts via Neteller can
still be requested and will continue to be processed to your Neteller
account for the time being.

For future deposits into your Bodog account, we have a number of
convenient options available. Our Instant Check method is a fast, free
and secure way to transfer funds to your Bodog account directly from
your US bank account. Additional options include eWallet deposit methods
such as:

Click2Pay
eWalletXpress
myCitadel
CentralCoin
NUCharge
INSTADEBIT
----------------------------------

Dear Brent,

Thank you for contacting Bodog Poker Customer Service.

In regards to NETeller, we are no longer offering it as a deposit method
as we are no longer able to ensure that those funds will be transferred
to us and we do not want to risk lost funds going to and from our
players accounts.

Thank you again for writing. If you require any further assistance,
please do not hesitate to contact us.

--------
Also, just checked back on Neteller and now Neteller is BACK UP......It was definitely off for a while. I'll email support and see what's going on.

Some more info:

----------
Dear Brent,

Thank you again for writing. Our stance has not changed - there is the
possibility that NETeller may suspend their services in the U.S., and in
order to ensure our players are able to continue making payouts and
deposits without interruption, we have made the business decision to end
our relationship with NETeller now. However, this decision was just
made and we are still in the process of working out the logistics. The
option may remain on our website while this is all worked out. We
appreciate your patience.

Thank you again for writing. If you require any further assistance,
please do not hesitate to contact us.

Neteller was put back up as on option. However, when
I tried to make an instacash deposit I got the following. FWIW, I am from MI in the USA:

"Your request cannot be completed. Fund transfers from your area of residence to this merchant are not available. "

So is this true?

I just went to Bodog & the Neteller deposit option is still available.
I did not deposit at this time, was just checking to see if they removed it from their site.

If you check my earlier post, you'll see that they took the Neteller option down, but then put it back up. Later, I found out I was unable ot do an Instacash deposit through Neteller.

Neteller killed instacash entirely. Bodog neteller deposits still work as of 15 minutes ago.

just seems like bodog protecting themselves (and clients to an extent) from having funds frozen up in any way while this pans out.

I emailed support on this issue and again got the standard form email that I previously put. Simply put, Neteller states that they are ending their relationship with Neteller.
