not sure if it's converter error or poor raise sizing on the turn

not a converter error, do you think its a mistake to establish a strong double rr range in spots like this?

bluffs or semi-bluffs? straight bluffing on boards like this is silly imo.

i think it's bad because he can still call these 'bluffs' with the naked A of spades (which he doesn't have, of course).

man i have no clue what he's got - T9? Q9 w/ Q of spades? QJo? hard to figure out

I would shove this fast. Also, c/c:ing here is completely horrible, whereas c/f could have some merit against certain players.

Also, if you think it through, you will realize a player of this kind, given how this hand played out, will rarely if ever slowplay a big hand on the flop.

k9, 99, and T9 aren't big hands on the flop

An important consideration here is do you ever think he shows up with bare trip kings on the river (Kx Qs, Kx Js, etc)

I think you should probably bet like $800 and either call or fold if he shoves.. depending on how comfortable you are folding a hand that big for those odds

I'd bet 700ish, and then call a shove.

700ish may look weakish to him, so if he's missed draw he may still push. But may also call with smaller flush (very possible hand, despite the check on flop.), and QJ.

If he's had a set, K9, or T9 here then this is just unfortunate.
