Where can you get online with a laptop on the Atlantic City Boardwalk?

hard enough even to get a decent cell phone signal in that city. some of the better hotels have a small business center if you want to surf or check web e-mail for a few bucks.

At the Trop business center, you get 4 hours for under $7 if you bring your own laptop. It's about that much for one hour if you use their computer.

The public library, I think, is not THAT far from the boardwalk. Also, I think there is an internet cafe on the walk.

I'd be more specific, but that's about all I actually know.

As a Brit who visits the US very frequently for both work and vacations, I love almost everything American, however...

How can it be that the wifi infrastructure has not been built out properly yet in the US?

How the FK can hotels charge 3 bills per night and not have wireless internet?

How can a concentrated area of humanity like the AC boardwalk not have billable wifi installed by Verizon, AT&T, or whoever in the hell it is who claims to be in the Telco business in the US?

America; why do you put up with 3rd World telco infrastructure?

It beggars belief.
