Default Bubble Play

I understand that stack sizes and buy-ins make a big difference in specific plays.

That said are there two or three general things that would make someone more successful at this key part of the SnG?

1) Don't make -$EV calls.
2) Don't make -$EV pushes.

1 Understanding of the other players calling/pushing ranges.
2 Understanding of the relative stack size of all of the player (ie you're playing different if you're the big stack and there is one really small stack than if the stacks are more even distributed for instance, ie different levels of aggression)
