Looks like you'll need 7 or 8 under just to compete here. 7 under seems like a realistic and expected / standard score to shoot for as Johnny said. I guess 28 under wins? Maybe those olden day golfers were just much better than these young guys. |

Yep, typical Phil. He's always withdrawing from tournaments due to made up injuries.

Could somebody please fly the green and plug their golf ball in Johnny Miller's mouth?

He's a terrible putter (for a pro) [/ QUOTE ] Which makes his win at Shinnecock all the more ridiculous. How was Goosen the only one able to make putts on those greens on Sunday? |

All I know is that Poulter's last approach was insane, and then got crazier.

Re: ***Official US Open Thread (Oakmont)***
I was very disappointed with the extra DirecTV channels this morning. They had three channels. One was highlights, one was a behind the scenes with guys on the practice range, and one was the featured group. Which just showed Tiger Woods's group. So since they are going to show every one of Tiger's shots anyway it was a station to see what Tiger does between shots.
Jim Furyk is playing great. Tiger looked bad all day and somehow grinded out a 71. I still have no idea how he does that. |
