theoretical tie in SNG, how do payouts work?
Lets say everyone goes all in on the first hand and one person wins it all, how do 2,3 payouts work? Or in a more realistic situation 4 left and two have equal low stacks and are eliminated at the same time, who gets $$?

If it's 4 left and two eliminated (with equal starting stack) they both get their buyin back basically. Minus the vig.

Re: theoretical tie in SNG, how do payouts work?
it's strictly based on chip counts, no position or anythign silly like that.
so it's (total prize pool for the tied for places)/(total players eliminated at once in that spot) c |

Re: theoretical tie in SNG, how do payouts work?
If its a full table (9 or 10) and everyone goes all in first hand (even chip counts) and one person wins, guy who wins gets whatever payout for first was, and the rest split the rest of the prize pool evenly.
So if it was a 10 buck sng, and first pays 50 (10 people), first would get 50, and everyone else would get 50 divided by 9, for about 5.56 each. |

First pays 50 usually though, unless it's like a 40/30/30 structure, or something weird.

Somewhere in pokertracker. I'm obv talking about the split on the bubble, no I haven't seen an all-in by 9 people on the first hand, that would be ridiculous.
