i'd fold on the river, you don't really beat anything. if he had a ten also there is a good chance he has made two pair or has you outkicked. also, i'd be very surprised to see a player value betting a worse hand than yours on the river.

If you bet the flop, you need to b/f the turn. If villian just calls the turn bet, c/f the river.
