Wow, I didn't realize 18+ yr olds were able to play in any casino.

How many 2/4 and 4/8 limit tables do the usually have going?

What effect?

Sober fish instead of drunk fish. Simple.

nobody acting nutty and slurring words, but still many, many, people donking chips off, and many young 18-20 yr olds also...and, some ppl bring in their own booze anyway...i'll be there playing friday afternoon/evening if anyone else will be there, give me a shout, should be fun and hopefully profitable

Is it still BYOB? If so, you haven't been playing there long enough. I've seen many people drunk, slurring, acting a fool, donking/lagtarding around big time while sipping on straight vodka. It's great. I remember a guy's good time hanging by a thread many times because he was so wasted they were going to kick him out.

Not serving just allows them to bring in the 18+ y/o kids to donk off their money. Some do well, but their are some great stations there.

It was not a month ago. They were trying once again to get a liquor license and had sign all over saying you were not allowed any alcohol in any area of the casino, including rooms. We smuggled bottles of liquor upstairs to our room and mixed drinks, but the poker room was a really sober place.

Google when you get a chance for this. There are quite a few 18+ casinos and have been for many years now. TS has been 18+ for something like 13 or 14 years now.

Yeah, I was there last week (visiting family in the area) and it was more sober then an AA meeting. You can still drink, but you need to be secret about it. Don't come in with a 2 liter of coke and a bottle of grey goose and mix at the table. If you pre-mix your liquor in the parking lot or in your hotel room in a big water bottle or even those huge 64 oz soda mugs they sell at gas stations, you will be fine.

Yeah, TS is doing it's typical song and dance "We don't pay taxes to the State but we want the State to give us everything in return". New York State will not give a alcohol license to TS as long as TS does not pay taxes to the State. I am semi-confused on how TS can do anything it wants and not pay taxes, sell tax-free tobacco becuase it is on Indian land, but it needs a license from the State for alcohol.
