BTN: $505
SB: $761.90
BB: $392

Pre-Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (UTG)
Hero raises to $14, 3 folds, BB calls $10

Flop: ($30) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $22, BB calls $22

Turn: ($74) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero checks

River: ($74) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero checks

Villain is 'HarryPoker7', 20/17/3.4/500, 4% 3-bet, and plays at least 3 tables.

He tanks a while before checking the river.

I was ambivalent about the turn. If I bet I'm folding out a lot of hands (I assume), and I also risk getting blown off my nice draw.

Great job getting value. Seriously, bet the turn or river.

I probably bet the turn, but if not I definitely bet the river. Checking both streets boggles my mind

When are you going to show us how awsome your check was since he was planning a c/r with 99 and you just knew this because he tanked before checking the river?

Bet the turn, bet the turn. You're betting it so often as a bluff in somewhat similar spots. Represent representing the ace. And value bet the river! Fear of a check raise isn't a reason to avoid getting any value at all with a monster. Value bet him until he gives you a reason not to.

sorry dude, but you missed a ton of value here. I bet every street.

You need to betting that turn when you don't have the ace so it's such a sweet spot when you actually do have it.

Both bet turn, check river and check turn, bet river are superior lines. I'd mix it up against a regular depending on recent history. Checking down TPTK on that board is not good.

seems like a super-standard b/f

i would say he c/r this river a decent amount, although your hand looks like 99 as much as AKss

i also bet the turn though
