Default *** Official Fantasy Football Adds-Drops/Trades/Misc Thread : Oct ***

Figure we can probably put the big September thread to rest, so I'll open with a question that all Steve Smith owners are asking:

With Delhomme now officially done for the year, does Smith have any value as a #1 receiver ? Put him on the trading block for whatever you can get ?

What are we doing with Larry Johnson at this point?

My current roster is:
Philip Rivers
Derrick Anderson

Randy Moss
Derrick Mason
Santana Moss
Lee Evans
Donte Stallworth

Willis McGahee
Larry Johnson
Cedric Benson
Julius Jones

Randy McMichael

Someone in the league offered me Marvin Harrison, Thomas Jones and Leon Washington for Larry Johnson, should I be considering this?

Yes. I don't believe in the Chiefs O-Line, and having lots of carries is bad.

Hell yes. That's about as good a deal as you can get for LJ at this point. He may break through for a few good games throughout the season, but it's pretty apparant that he's not going to get any consistent output considering the state of that OL.

Hey guys,

My WRs are Andre Johnson, Braylon Edwards, and Steve Smith (we only start 2). I'm in desperate need of a win (1 game back of both my division opponents) but Braylon Edwards and Steve Smith both have byes, so that means that I'm starting Andre Johnson and DAVID PATTEN (pure garbage_.

So here are my two options:
1) I trade Smith and Titans D for Marvin Harrison and Ravens D. Simple enough: give up value for the year on Smith but get a good WR starting this week.

2) I trade Steve Smith and Chris Cooley for Alge Crumpler, Torry Holt, and John Kitna. My QBs at the moment are Vince Young (killing me) and Jeff Garcia (limited upside) so I'd get a significant QB upgrade, take a hit at TE, and lose value at WR but would have Holt for this weekend.

Which trade is better for me?

What if I can trade Harrison for Kitna next week? I assume that makes me take the Harrison trade?

FWF -

you sound like a desperate man. Alge Crumpler and Torry Holt are in horrible situations that only figure to get worse before they get better. I think you've got to stick with Young or line up a better trade, because unless there is strange scoring in your league, you are getting stomped on a Harrison for Kitna deal (imo).

I'd consider the Smith/Harrison swap, considering Smith's quarterback was born in the 1960s, and teams have to be able to stop him sometime.
