I must admit, Diana looks very cute in that seashell bra of hers.

Meh. She was working as a waitress when she met Charles.

[/ QUOTE ]

That much is true, but even then she knew she'd find a much better life, either with or without him.

She married Prince CHARLES, not his father Prince Philip.

Do you people even know what she did. She wasn't some snob who just partied, she did probably more humanitarian work than anybody else in her time. That makes her hero in my book

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL. She probably did less than 99.9% of anybody in the peace corps or working inner city social programs. But they aren't married to British royalty.

Jesus has been dead for 2000 years and people won't let that go. 10 years for Diana doesn't really surprise me.

What about Diana wasn't interesting?

She was young, tall, skinny, scandalous, blond haired, blue eyed girl who married royalty. She was also a mom, and an ambassador. I mean, I don't really care much about her but come on, it's easy to see why gobs of people find her fascinating. I mean, Jeez, half of NVG has a man-crush on Patrik Antonius for Pete's sake. Imagine if he was Finnish royalty who died in a grease fire at a young age or something. NVG would definitely remember him 10 years after. Hell, look at Stu Ungar.

Diana was both a princess and an angel. That's rare.

[/ QUOTE ]

An angel?

Please tell me why. Seriously.

What I remember was a girl who belonged on Oprah -- eating disorders, failed marriage, low self esteem, etc. Does that make her an angel?

[/ QUOTE ]

You can be extremely benevolent, caring, etc and still have all kinda issues.

[/ QUOTE ]

Right. Once you're famous, morons will come out of the woodwork to worship you no matter what kind of an idiot you are. Diana reached the level of saint in some people's minds because she was willing to appear at some luncheons and get her picture taken wearing new dresses. Imagine a god -- eating lunch! Just like the rest of us!

It must be a sign.
