Default Recommend a course (boston area)

Hey guys

I'm going back to Boston this weekend for my dads birthday. I was hoping to take him out for 9 holes of golf this weekend. A few things I am looking for.

Location: Somewhere in the general vicinity of Boston ( say within an hour - hour and a half). We live in the 'burbs

9 holes preferred over 18. I dont think my dad will want to walk 18, and i hate riding in carts (or having him ride in a cart and me walk).

Difficulty. This will be my first time out, and maybe his 2nd. But we're not great golfers by any means, so i'd prefer an easy course over a difficult one.

So overall, i'm looking for a nice (i dont really care about greens fees), short, easy course that i haven't played at.

Thanks

Ian

where abouts?
There's plenty around, but I wouldn't recommend a Brewster course if you are in Peabody...so narrow it down a little.

Cyprian Keys in Boylston has a nice 9 hole par 3 course that's under an hour from Boston.

Here's a more complete list:
