Meh, not really. Sunny and Matt were just made mods so they could edit their book discussion thread. And Mike H was made mod of every single forum so he could, um, I'm not really sure, lol.

[/ QUOTE ]
lol the thought process was that mh could clean up spammers or trolls effectively while mods in each respective forum were absent

ok i'll try to stop posting (probably)

After days like today, I wish I could cashout my winnings immediately in crisp $100s, wipe my ass with them and set the whole mess on fire on pokerstars' front doorstep.

donkey, I'm (sorta) in the same boat as you. I just withdrew everything to 2k and THAT is my br. I have to have 20 BIs to move up and 50 BIs to play HU. If I don't, I have to find a job/have to quit poker. I think its the only way to get a grip on it. You can no longer think of any money you've withdrawn as part of your bankroll. Thats all you have. Just start over, tottaly, 100%.

good advice. We all know im a bad degen too. Key is not to get drunk and play poker. Always have AIM or some program and tell ur friends if ur on tilt. They can usually calm you down and tell you to stop. Stuff like that really helps alot.

Donkey,

This is the upteenth time that you've posted a degen story that destroyed your bankroll. You have *no* self-control. Don't play poker until you figure out why and how to start working towards a change. My suggestion would be www.freedomainradio.com ; there is a lot of psychological stuff on there.

one more thing then i'll stop polluting the thread. the most hands ive played in one month is 25k. ive been thinking about going back to my setup and 8 tabling 5-6 hours per day for 20 days. the goal would be 100k hands. i would undoubtably have to cut down on drugs/alcohol, but i think it's doable.

any advice on how to do this? any advice on whether or not i should do this?

When the most you've done is 25k in a month I think 100k hands right off the bat is kind of an unreasonable goal. If I were you I'd start my goal out at 50k hands the first month and if you do that increase it by 10-15k a month until you hit the 100k mark. 8-tabling for 5-6 hours a day can be pretty tough if you aren't used to it.

maaaaybe shoot for 40-50k. if the most you have done before is 25k, then if you try to put in more than 40-50k, you will end up hating life and your results will suffer whenever ur hating life.
