Re: Rivered flush on double paired board. Too thin?
call the river.
fold preflop against an unknown is good too, calling isn't horrible though. i'd probably just raise the flop as played i probably fold the turn, or raise as a bluff rather than a semi bluff, planning to check down if i hit the flush, or call a small bet |

Re: Rivered flush on double paired board. Too thin?
well u must be god's gift to poker Mr. Scallop...I've heard about this guy....he's never wrong and everyone else who disagrees should quote: "...quit poker"~~~LOL Alright now seriously tho this is a great line, and while it is quite thin, it is definitely for value. the villain's line is sooooooo weak and i would be shocked if he had us beat here. An eight or the nutflush are the only things we need to worry about. I think 3 pairs or ace high is what ur gonna see here 95% of the time...Also wouldnt a fish play AA like this as well?

[ QUOTE ]
I bet you didn't shove but called and he showed AA. [/ QUOTE ] I actually did shove (yeah I'm a spewtard)...and he timed alllll the way down and folded. I doubt he folded 8x to me, so I'm assuming he folded some kind of A. I think AA calls most of the time FWIW. |
