Default TPGK on a megadraw board vs a fishy

I lost a ton to day, so these hands are not exactly difficult, more like for tilt detection

Villain is a the main fish at the table. 80/10/2 or something. I absolutely destroy his range here.

No IQ poker 0.25/0.50, hand converted by the iPoker Converter at Talking-Poker

Button ($17.75)
SB SB ($53.35)
BB BB ($29.12)
UTG ($28.11)
UTG+1 Hero ($84.93)
CO CO ($61.85)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
1 fold, Hero raises to 2.00, CO calls 2.00, 1 fold, SB calls 1.75, BB calls 1.50.

Flop (8.00) 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets 6.00, CO calls 6.00, 2 folds.

Turn (20.00) J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero checks, CO bets 5.00, Hero raises to 25.00, CO calls 20.00.

I timed out on this table and went for a c/r instead. I am absolutely positive he is drawing.

River (70.00) A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero checks, CO bets 9.00, Hero ?

Hokay, can we call getting 1 to 9 knowing almost every draw hit?

you can spite call, certainly. i honestly would call, but i probably would've c/r AI on the turn. note: i didn't look at stack sizes, let me double check. yeah i dunno, it's quite an overbet. bet/3bet or bet/call i like better. and then if you get just called again, c/f that river.

Unfortunately, I think you have to, especially since he is a fish.

I think that since you did check-raise the turn, you are really committing yourself to the pot and you almost have to make the crying call here. Also, and I could be really wrong here, but if you call, you are still not justifying his improper odds call on the turn.

So, yes, I would call.

he's fishy, I don't think I could fold for that price, once in a while you should see something you beat against this player I think, you know you charged him good at least.
And dont time out next time obv. :P

If you are positive he is drawing and think there is a chance he will not fold I like a turn lead of ~$12.

It gets you to the river cheaper if he calls and makes it easy to c/f when the draw hits.

$30 pot

/quibble

edit: I have no idea what to do here, but on massive drawy board, if you're c'raising you're giving him 3-2 plus implied with position on river for a ton of combo draws with a $25 cr.

But I also have problems when villain doesn't bet enough on turn for me to crai reasonably when stacks are awkward. Wish I knew the answer here.

My standard would be to bet turn fairly hard rather than cr in this spot. Then I'd puke on that river.

He timed out during the turn so that's why he checked, I don't think OP was going for a CR there. Anyways analyzing and thinking it's always good.

you say you crush his range - and your OP also implies that he's a calling station - so even though it's a big raise, he should call with any Q and any draw, correct? I don't think the fact that it's an overbet matters
