getting word out for home games

what is the best way to get word out about a home game...I have been using some of the online posting sites, but have not had much luck contacting people. Are there any established posting sites that have current games posted with a lot of registered users? all the ones ive been using still have games from 4+ years ago and nobody really ever replies to emails
