Re: Heroes 1/22
- I like the progression of the Haitian. I could see him turning into a really awesome character (mysterious, religious, loyal, virtuous, etc).
- Is it just assumed that Claire can't feel pain? I guess it must be as she willingly hurts herself. - I love that Claire's Dad is becoming more and more benevolent. - Do people on trial for quadruple murder get visits with their family? - Code for www.primatechpaper.com? I think one could figure it out if they were any better with JavaScript than me. - Good episode. I like how it setup where the show is going. So many questions remain, which is annoying but critical. - Next week looks AAAAAAAAAAAAAWESOME. Get to see what's down with the kid. |

Re: Heroes 1/22
Some thoughts:
Ali Larter's character: I don't see it. What exactly is her superpower, and what is she bringing to the table? Some people are flying around and traveling through time, and she's just batshit insane. The Japanese guys are excellent characters. I like how pretty much all of the male heroes have found ways to turn their superpowers into taking advantage of women. How come the invisible guy is doing such petty thievery, and how come he looks so poor and disheveled? |

Also wouldnt people get suspicious when peter is walking down the street then all the sudden he dissapears? Anyways good episode but Alis character needs to go or give us something other than shes crazy. |

Weak episode I thought. Especially after how awesome the last one was.

seriously, he could walk into a bank and steal anything [/ QUOTE ] What can an invisible dude do with wads of cash? But really, what can he do with petty thievery either - don't think too hard about it, the show does not hold up well to pondering. Hiro: "V-v-v-v-iwwain"! |

interesting was that it appeared it was nikki...not jessica when she snapped the nightstick [/ QUOTE ] Yeah - I caught this too. Could mean interesting things in the future for Niki (i.e. she gains control of her Jessica and her powers). Hiro continues to rock: "Frying man! WHOOOSH" "Shhhh" "whoosh" Question - just because you're invisible, does also mean people can't HEAR you? I liked the touch with the cockroaches crawling around in Sylar's cell - as in they're the only living things that will survive a nuclear bomb (or man). Does anyone else think that Nathan will grab Peter and fly him out of New York just before he is supposed to explode? It sure looked that way. |

[/ QUOTE ] a) Maybe he isn't always invisible b) He can still deposit it in a bank using a deposit box and could potentially support some non-invisible person who knows of him. c) Maybe he just likes stealing (who doesnt?) |

[/ QUOTE ] Invisible dude's clothing is invisible, so it is likely he can project that power onto other objects, at least those he is in contact with. |
