so any time we get 4 bet we should put villain on JJ/AK and push with QQ ? And we should be more worried when villains smooth call our 3 bets ?

I haven't folded QQ pre in 6-max in over 6 months and I can count on one hand the number of times I've gotten my money in bad.

I assume you have played about 1000 hands.

I usually put them on AK and push with any pair.

Having said that the player being all in makes a big difference and he will often push big pairs in this spot. Still it's probably a call.

You mean you've been less than 5 times against KK or AA all in pf in 6 max in 6 months ??
I actually have trouble believing you. Do you mean villains smooth call the 3 bet w KK AA and don't 4 bet maybe ??

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, this is probably part of it. Also, I smooth call 3-bets a lot pf in and out of position with QQ rather than four bet and look to get it in.

Also, this is over about 200k hands and I'm dead serious and 100% positive that it's less than 5 times that I've been in against a higher pair after being four or even five bet all in pf.

No, any time we get 4 bet we should draw up a realistic range of hands four our opponents which might include JJ and definitely includes AK and as such we should recognize that we have odds to call with the dead money in the pot.

you mileage may vary, but i believe the David Sklansky Ed Miller No Limit hold em book addresses this situation in one sentence around page 167 or so...when facing two preflop raises from two different players go all in with AA or KK, fold everything else...if you have a specific read on your opponents go for it, but i would rather follow the advice both the of Grand Gugu & Noted Authority...and besides, i forked out good $$$$ for their book...
