You go to a dinner party at someone's house. Everything is fine.

You need to use the restroom, so the host points you towards the guest bathroom on the main floor. It is clean and sparkling. It smeels like potpourri. There is a full roll of toilet paper on the holder. There may be a fragrant candle burning. The lights are probably dimmed slightly to make it look inviting.

You head over to the toilet and lift the seat and lid up--they fall back down.

There is a terry-cloth toilet seat cover on the lid.

You lift the lid and seat again, and press it hard against the front of the tank so it will stay--they fall back down.

You then must bend halfway over with one hand to hold the seat up, and aim with the other hand. It is uncomfortable and awkward. You work hard to avoid spraying your pants by accident. You've long forgotten about the potpourri and fragrant candle.

i know, that's why it's inconsiderate. i had to use a euphemism because i gave up swearing for lent, and by swearing i mean words i wouldn't say in front of my little brother.
