Default A Thursday night in Vegas. Accomodation Suggestions Please.

Two weeks from tomorrow, Thursday Nov. 29th, a friend and I are meeting in Vegas. We both want to play some poker and go out that night. We are staying Friday and Saturday at the Wynn( comped because of our high-rollin' friend who arrives Friday). He dropped $30K on BJ last trip. Anyway,Thursday we want to stay on the strip and save our money for poker.

We see these as the best options because they are reasonably priced and close to nice poker rooms and good entertainment spots.

If you're looking for something in the same price range as MGM and NYNY, and you care about proximity to good poker rooms, I'd suggest TI (convenient to Mirage, Venetian and Wynn) or Paris (convenient to Bellagio and sort of convenient to Caesars).

Thanks for the input. I think we'll slumb it up at PH and walk over and grab a seat in the 5-10 game at Bellagio.

I stayed at GC this summer for the wsop to save a few bucks. Big mistake. The must do a big promo in the backwaters, because my impression upon checking in was "You might be a redneck if you stay at the GC."

The rooms are like closets. The pool is a dump. Hot tub is okay. Fitness room is okay.

The buffet is very good for the price and probably the best feature of the property.

The casino itself makes you feel like you are downtown.
