BBV Where do you get music?

I was inspired many months ago to try to to put this thread and the other talking about music to play poker to.

Basically I want to fill my ipod with an assortment of music but I want to do it cheap and legal...

is there a place like naptser that works for ipods?
Napster has a monthly fee unlimited downloads but doesn't work for ipods...
I am tech savy and dont mind altering the files if I need to but obviously would prefer not.. DRM free? just dont want to dick with it..

ideally unlimited for a certain fee with full cds available not just singles because alot of singles are really bad..

You just put tracks from your harddrive into Itunes and download them to your Ipod.

LOL my idea is to get rid of my compact discs and use my ipod to acquire music... I already ripped like 20% of what I had but frankly thats redicously time consuming ...

I have almost no idea what this says....
and really its not worth the hassle to get them illegally now and frankly $14 a month to not have to worry about it would be ideal..

allofmp3 was pretty cool, but they stopped taking cc payments or something. There are other russian itunes knock offs that cost pennies per song, I have no expierence with ones besides allof though. Its pretty gray area, but from what I understand its legal on the users end.

Uh... I don't see the point of the thread. Aren't there like a billion music websites? Aren't napster and itunes the industry standard for idiots that still pay for music?
