NL200 KK line check, push or fold on turn
No reads/stats about villain, he has only been few hands on the table. Also appreciate comments on flop if you had played it differently.

Re: NL200 KK line check, push or fold on turn
Push. His range is a lot wider than just sets here; big tens, JJ,QQ, lots of draws. I think 3-betting the flop is also a good option if you think there's a decent chance he's would raise with a draw.

[/ QUOTE ] True that his range is wider than just sets, but QQ/JJ?? I think he would have reraised with those holdings preflop. This leads me to think the he has a set or a draw, and this is where your reads come in. Against unknown IŽd lean towards folding the turn. If you had reads on him that he would raise this flop with a wide range, IŽd lean towards pushing the flop. |

I think there's a half decent chance he's going nuts with something like AT here. Also, the majority of players at this level seem to prefer slowplaying the flop with sets, which makes me feel better about KK. I just can't see myself getting away from this hand vs. an unknown. |

Re: NL200 KK line check, push or fold on turn
Push all day. I like calling on the flop here to see another card. If an A or spade comes, then it's time for some thinking... if not, c/r allin.

Thanks all for the comments. I folded my hand there but felt a bit weak afterwards, though i still think it's pretty close.

would nobody shove the flop? [/ QUOTE ] I think shoving the flop or just calling planning to CRAI a safe turn are both fine. |
