A Frosted Mini-Wheatsesque hand
The tournament player in me wants to call, but the cash game player in me wants to fold...
$2/$4 - 9 players at table, but only two of us involved in the hand: Player on the button has been at the table for a while. She seems fairly tight and I haven't seen her get out of line. A few hands ago she just won a big three way all-in pot with two other players with an over set to an underset to top two pair. Seat 6: BUTTON($1,025.10) Seat 7: JonCash31 SB($346.55) JonCash31 posts the small blind of $2 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to JonCash31 [Qd Qs] folds around table to BUTTON who raises to $14 JonCash31 raises to $45 BB folds BUTTON has 15 seconds left to act BUTTON raises to $1,025.10, and is all in JonCash31 has 15 seconds left to act JonCash31 folds Uncalled bet of $980.10 returned to BUTTON BUTTON mucks BUTTON wins the pot ($94) *** SUMMARY *** Total pot $94 | Rake $0 |

Re: A Frosted Mini-Wheatsesque hand
In retrospect I think I should've made my poll question, "What do you think villain has here?"
A A K K A K Q Q J J Other I thought that at least a few players might think it could be a close call since the original raise came from the button. |

Re: A Frosted Mini-Wheatsesque hand
well we'll have to see but this kind of raise just looks really suspicious. i can't see a tight player making this move without a big hand. they can raise a lot less with that to win the pot.

Re: A Frosted Mini-Wheatsesque hand
If you are confident in your read that villian is tight then it's clearly better to fold.
