If you want to be safe, ask the dealer ahead of time if exposing your hand intentionally will kill it. I've seen this done twice that I can remember, and both times the dealer allowed it.

At foxwoods they allow this.
What about if I am at foxwoods and turn my hand up on the flop if we are the last two to act, if I make a large bet that will put my opponent all in and turn my hand face up. Is it still kosher if its on the flop or turn, and not on the river?

If there is a third person who has already acted, or is all-in, DO NOT turn your cards face up. But if it is heads-up, it doesn't matter on what street you reveal your cards. If the room allows you to reveal your cards when heads-up, you can do it anytime you please once it is down to you and the other player.

That's a little weird, yes, but I do think I agree it's doing no more harm to one than another. So *I* am ok with it. But I imagine some poker floors have troubles with this and it surely violates the letter of the rules. If someone asked if he could play one card face up every hand, I doubt if the floor would ok it, though if I were at the table I'd be thrilled to have it happen.

[/ QUOTE ] Doing no more harm to one than to another. How about this. You are sitting on the nuts. Your opponent flips over the second nuts and then the third player folds his third nut hand. Do you think you haven't been harmed then?

[/ QUOTE ] Say an early position raiser gets called by MP. I have aces in late position, push all-in and expose my hand. I suppose the two players already in the pot have a disadvantage to everyone who hasn't put any moey in the pot, but otherwise it seems like everyone has an equal footing. Why would I want to do this? Because I have tremendously bad luck with aces. I want them just to fold when they see the aces and I'll be happy with the pot as is. I probably should just fold them whenever I get them and be money ahead, but I don't seem to be able to do it.
