But it encourages less terrible players to bluff you after seeing that you can lay down decent hands. Not good. Leave the ego at the door and have them believe you are a calling station.

A couple of sessions ago I did some equally as stupid, folding KK face up. A short time later a player with JJ got me to fold QQ after we went 5 bets preflop and an ace flopped. Never show yourself to be the type who is proud to be able to lay down good hands. This is big time negative ev.

I'll be at Commerce tomorrow-Sunday playing mostly 20-40, but some 30-60 or 40-80 too, depending. I'm the dude with the Lord of the Rings card protector, which inevitably leads to a slew of "is that Jesus?" questions. Flights gets in tomorrow at 7:30, so I figure we'll be at Commerce by 8:30 and at the tables by 9-9:30.

No 30/60 limit there. It is a 20/40 & 40/80 place. I believe the 60 game is the only 2/3 structure.

I just left Vegas. I played only 30/60 (Bellagio), except for some 15/30 while I was on waiting lists. I found the post- World Series games to be much better than they were when I was there a few weeks ago while the tournaments were still going. I was playing mostly 30/60 and 100/200 then and the games were much tighter.

Bucca is pretty good. Also, you never acknowledged mine. The 30 is your territory. I only played, bc before you and Pbob showed up it was better than the 15. That didnt stop the 2 and 3 outers from coming and incinerating all my hard work from last night.
I think UIGEA cashed in the donkament tonight. Maybe he will make a deposit tommorrow at table 31. He kept eyeing it when he was at the final table. Then again maybe he is now just a tourney specialist.

I dunno, bucca's is ok but I think of it as more of a family/big meal place than a place to bring a date. Think I'm gonna try biaggi's or whatever at eden prairie center.

Sorry to hear your 30 adventure didn't work out, pretty good game but that cheeseburger really didn't agree with me. To be honest I was pretty impressed by not only your play but your table presence in the 3 hrs I played. Only a couple comments, first off the hand where theres a limp, you limp T8s, one more limp, phil limps button and there's no raise preflop - I don't see how you don't bet the flop here when its checked to you with a Q8x board. I also have no idea what phil could have here when he calls the turn and then checks the river and you win when the backdoor flush comes in. Also the hand where idiot 6 seat limps and you raise in CO and I defend my bb and c/r you on a AQ6 board, a guy like me could be c/ring here with all kinds of hands given the situation and you waiting for the turn with your AJ or whatever the hell you had is kinda bad to be honest as you probably found out when I c/fed the turn I don't usually 3bet the flop in position with big hands but this would be a spot for it.

Yeah first time I saw UIGEA in a few weeks hopefully he had a little cash infusion and will be back gambling with us.

I usually would bet that all day, but just sick of getting raised every time I stick a bet in. In the hand where you cr me I figured you would cr alot of hands which is why I didnt 3 bet you. I figured you had to fire on the turn and I wouldntve raised there either. I also couldnt figure out what Phil had either so I was happy to get to sd.

P.S. I misread and thought you were not impressed by my presence or play, lol. Ty for the critique. I definitely need the critique especially in the 30. I had no idea what Phil had in that hand.

well I pride myself on live reads and was pretty sure you had a relatively huge hand (i.e. not a broadway gutshot) or should I say a way better hand than my pair of sixes with seven kicker. Phil hand is pretty weird tbh.
