Your sarcasm isn't really helping your argument.
I see bad calls all the time on Stars. Nobody said they didn't.

The fact is, they seem to have thoroughly reviewed the chat as well as the hand in question and they are specifically telling you that in their judgement the chat did not appear to have affected play.

but they agreed with you that this was a violation of the rules and that a warning was certainly in order which they gave.
This seems extremely appropriate for the situation.

Many times when a rule is broken in live or online-poker the appropriate 'punishment' is to give a warning.

Your take that even if there is the remotest possibility that the broken rule could have changed the play should result in a full refund for you is not consistent with how rules are enforced everywhere in poker.
You don't seem to understand that.

The real rules of poker do not view it that way as far as i understand them.
Your problem might be more with poker-rules themselves than with Stars.
Slight infraction that likely didn't impact the game is not supposed to mean you get a full refund.

Ok guys thanks for the comments. Consensus seems to be that PokerStars handled it ok. Not sure if this means it is ok to break any poker rule or just this one. Perhaps it would be better if there was just one rule - that being "there are no rules"

[/ QUOTE ]

The consensus on this board is that whatever Pokerstars does is OK.

The consensus on this board is that whenever Pokerstars makes a reasonable decision, considers the interests of all players and then explains it clearly, it is OK.

Well, you're wrong. I don't - never have, and don't envisage it in the future.

I currently am an employee of the Australian Government (although I obviously don't represent them or anyone else on here)

Pokerstars handled this well IMO.

They agreed that player broke the rules and gave him/her an appropiate punishment for their first offence.

How would FTP or a Crypto site have handled this. As you have played them sites like myself u know the answer.
