Default Lapc- main event

Justin Bonomo Eliminated
On a board of Ac-6d-4h-Jc-Jd John Monette bets $3,000 into a $8,500 pot. Justin Bonomo reraises all-in and Monette makes the call. Monette shows As-Kc. Bonomo mucks his hand and gets up from the table

nice call sir. any thoughts?

No thoughts on the Bonomo hand but I see that Joe Hachem is playing another WPT event.

Interesting. Its probably a good spot for a bluff because people dont bluff the river very often. Of course Justin probably has a farily laggy reputation.

He probably gets a fold from almost any ace beside AK AQ in this spot. So its probably a decent spot in reality.

Not much can be extracted from that hand description. I'm guessing ZJ just tried to big bluff an amateur calling station.

Jamie Gold is gone, as well, in under 90 minutes. Inconceivable!

Indulge me while I ndrop a few more names: Isabelle Mercier, Joe Cassidy, David Levi, Dan Harrington, Jean Robert Bellande, David Sklansky , Tom Franklin , Evelyn Ng, Ted Forrest, Vanessa Rousso, Chad Brown, Jeff Madsen, and Mark Newhouse .

The only thing missing in that list is Brandi Rose

there's a twelve-player, $20,000 buy-in, short-hand, invitation-only Ladbrokes tournament taking place in London this week. Phil, Phil and Doyle are all invited, as are Chris Ferguson and Liz Lieu. Haven't heard any other names. I'm sure they're available if you Google for it.

Not to hijack the thread but I haven't heard about this 12-player thing happening in London (have tried Googling for it to no avail, doesn't seem to pop at any UK poker site either).

There's Premier League Poker as well. Busy week for some people then.
