private message problem

i am seemingly unable to send pm's.

ive received a few and when i reply, type in the message and try to send it back it seems to go through. but when i check my sent messages there is nothing in there so im guessing that they are not sent (i have also not received any responses from ones that i have sent)

is there a trick? or am i being stupid?

any help is appreciated. thanks

Be sure to click the "I want to keep a copy of this message" box at the bottom of your message area. By default, it is not checked.

I wonder who the lucky annoyed posters are who have received the same message from you like 6 or 7 times because you don't understand that sent items aren't saved unless you want them to be.
