Thinking about getting Invisalign...
My bottom teeth are slightly crooked, my tops are decent to good. I am a little self conscious, but not so much where I dont smile. My dentist tells me I am a good candidate (for $5k, Im sure he says it to everybody).
From what I was told and read on their website I have to wear the retainers 22 out of 24 hours/ day for about a year, then a couple of hours/day FOREVER. My dentist said he can put a metal bar (unnoticeable)behind my teeth after the year so I would not have to wear the retainers after the year. I dont know anybody who has done this. My only info comes from my dentist and the Invisalign website. Anybody have done this, or know people who have? What have the results been?

OP,
invisalign are pretty annoying. I had braces when I was in middle school and didn't wear my retainer so I got invisalign in high school. I brushed my teeth twice a day and put the invisaligns in the alcohol stuff every night and couldn't keep them clear. they would always turn yellow. also, if you can keep them clear, they're not invisible. you can easily tell when someone's wearing them. But, it definitely is better than getting braces.
