$16 - AQ
What is the 'general consensus' about playing AQ during the first three levels? say without reads/stats yet on anyone.
Do you play it from early position? Limp it? Limp it from MP as well? What if the pot is raised before we are to act? Open raise it from late position always I think? So, what is your 'general' strategy with AQ during the first levels under different (basic, folded to you, limpers in front, raisers in front) circumstances and from different positions. The question might be a bit too general, but I hope you can answer the question for basic situations. Thanks in advance! Edit: note the buyin. |

Re: $16 - AQ
6.5
Well I always fold it from EP, and even MP. I'll raise from LP in unopened pots folding to any heat. I know i'm probably loosing some value, but i end up playing TPTK/TP2K a bit passively at the very early stages particularly OOP, so i just rather avoid this and continue to work on post flop play HU and multiway. |

Re: $16 - AQ
$16's
depending on my mood/how busy other tables are I limp/fold ep (I call a raise if they're suited) or just fold them if it's a agrro table. If I'm busy I fold them allways. Starting from l3 I might raise them in mp or later. Although I don't think it's really bad to play them a bit looser on this buyin. Loads of people doing increadibly stupid things at the 16's. |
