Re: NL100: My KK gets shoved on by a nit
OK - we're not worried about 46, thats never playing that to a raise. So we're scared of 77, 88, 55, or AA. Even nitties 3bet AA OOP thus it's pretty much out. We're beating QQ-dwn, maybe a bluffy AKd. 60 hands is a small sample to assume complete nit status. Just trying to play devil's advocate to the unanimous folding opinions so far.

Re: NL100: My KK gets shoved on by a nit
I think a nitty player (or even somewhat nitty players for that matter) are raising this flop with any overpair that kings beat. That pretty much narrows villains range to set/straight or semibluff with turned draw. In my somewhat limited experience these big overbet all ins on these types of boards tend to be sets.
While this could be a bluff, I tend to give players respect on these types of plays until they give me reason to think otherwise. |
