AQ on button vs tag in BB

Was on a few tables, stats were something like 20/15.

Thoughts?

Now what? What kind of hand do you put him on with all his checking...smaller-mid pp? Can I bluff river?

I wouldn't expect him to be calling with 77 here when you 4 bet.

I'm guessing he has something like JJ, maybe QQ. I wouldn't try to push him off it.

you havent given yourself any chance of establishing his hand strength on the early streets so i would check

betting the flop would have obv given you some direction

push him off JJ/QQ on the flop bet/fold and c/f if he calls. I cant see JJ,QQ calling another bet after being 4bet and the K hits.

Whenever I bet the flop inthese spots I either get check raised or can't get them off JJ or QQ. Maybe I'm being too results oriented.

Should I be double barreling here?

You're not deep enough to double barrel. I think checking through is fine if you don't think they'll fold QQ or at least JJ.

Without a read, 4-betting an OOP re-raiser preflop with AQo is pretty bad, in my opinion.

EDIT: Didn't see it was 4-handed. Still not terribly crazy about it though. We have position on him post-flop, let's just call his 3-bet and evaluate things on the flop.
