i dont mind 3betting flop to $300 and calling a shove

[/ QUOTE ]

Agreed. I might 3-bet slightly bigger to like 330 but the same thing is accomplished.

i think i liek calling the flop and c/r all in here if your opponent is agressive hell bet the turn almost everytime, and you may get him to commit with worse hands thos way. IN addition his bluffing frequency will go down on subsequent hands

[/ QUOTE ]

I think b/c is far superior to a c/r on the turn and heres why. If he's wants to bluff his flush draw/air he probably shoves over a weak bet with the same frequency as if we check and he decides to bet. At the same time, this prevents him from checking behind with his draws, and lets us get more value from them.

[/ QUOTE ]
well said/explained, this is maybe better than my line, but it depends on the villian. I think the key is your assuming that he will raise the same percentage of the time as if we had checked, which isnt necesarily true.

also, if your planning to bet/call this turn, how much do you bet, are u gunna bet pot to protect more against the draws or make a "blocking bet" to induce a bluffshove

This is wrong imo. Given the line we took in this hand villain should know we aren`t going anywhwere and react accordingly.
We would need a specific read to say one line is far superior to the other one.

This hand has been posted a bazillion times in the past week at 2p2.

[/ QUOTE ]

the title of op is "standard spot", i wasn't trying to mislead anyone.

[ QUOTE ]
I think the most important part of this hand isn't the turn decision or any subsequent river decision. It's moreso how we balance our range here with other hands.

[/ QUOTE ]

i think that's the most important part of every hand.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah but my point is people could play against his given range here and figure out the best way to play against this range on this one hand but it's not going to be the best way to play it.

With balance in mind, i think the best option on the flop is to call and to check the turn. If he checks behind we bet the river obviously. If he bets then I think its dependent on what we think off opp, since he's an unknown I'd tend to call/call. However, every option if he bets the turn is viable depending on who we are facing.
