3/6 Line check vs good LAG in RRd pot
Villain is dwballz, one of the best mid-high stakes NL regs in FTP IMO, and this is the first time i've seen him at 3/6 in a while. He's 2 spots to my left and has been 3 betting me and playing back at me a decent amount, and I've been folding to him. we're both playing like 26/20ish atm. In retrospect I kind of like bet/calling the flop here, but I went for a c/r all in because it looks like I have a draw and he might call with worse. What do you guys think?

what hands are you looking for him to call with? seems like he can only call with a very limited amount of hands. i think i'd rather bet/call

i don't think this is so bad. i think he calls with 77,88,9X, 1010 a lot here, not to mention there's a ton of draws out that he could easily have. i think if we were up against JJ-AA we would have had a better idea preflop given his line, and i think we can reasonably rule out KJ,AJ...i doubt he's calling a re-raise OOP with that kind of a hand. i think this just fine. [/ QUOTE ] he's in position and how is 9x better than KJ or AJ? |
