I think when you check the flop, you are making a commitment to calling down most of the time. Because you've now opened the door for him to bluff a lot

I'm happy to stack off on the flop anyway, and I don't see what's changed other than a flush that there's no reason to put him on

...because people bluff with the line we took? Standard as played would always be to call, but I can understand folding river to some villains who are less likely to be bluffing.

It doesn't matter. AQ, Qx, pocket, pure bluff. If it is set+, good for him. After reraising so much preflop HU and seeing that flop, I'll try to get this all-in no matter what.

the only reason for a flop check imo is to get this to happen on the turn and river, your land looks like TT JJ to me, i would call this rather happily, despite QQ and AA making upa chunk of his range
