At first I thought bet, but now I think check. Most hands (that we beat) that can call a bet here really didn't like that card. I think we might find it easier to get value on the river.

i agree. someone should start a thread on this--er post hands where this happens to them so others can give their thoughts.

I'd just bet; don't you all think he could play AA/KK in this manner with plans to ck/ca all-in here? I don't see any value in inducing a bluff because he has no bluffing hands in his range after the 4bet cc.

So his range imo is like aa-tt, ak, aq, and against this range it seems like a clear bet. Remember, you could easily have air here too...

given history, i think it looks weakest. also i think his range isnt as strong as you probably do.

I like a check.

Reason is to portray what YOU think HE has.. ie. what you want HIM to *think* YOU think that HE has.. if he checks riv again he's looking real weak so your push can look like a bluff... but after he checks turn after checking flop he knows that you're still probably a bit weary so I dont think shoving turn looks as much like a bluff as shoving river will..

And it lets him try to bluff 99- cuz he's obv not calling a shove on the turn with them..
