Default Facing aggression with top pair good kicker

Villain is 40/28 over only 35 hands. We had squared off a couple hands earlier where I flopped tptk and a gutshot, made a cbet, and pushed over his minraise - he called with a small overpair and an oesd (mhing). So, I feel like he views me as laggy and might be playing back at me here.

Thoughts? Do you get away from this?

if you think he's playing back you on the flop, then reraise the s**t out of him.

I think by the river you've got to realize he's not just making a play on you. As played, I fold the river.

i really dont like the flop play. why not repop his minraise? the only reason i would flat it is if i was going to try to take it away on the turn when the obvious draw does not get there. i guess you can let him "bet his bluff" and call him down, but i really dislike that as a rule, i certainly have to have more than 35 hands on him to do it, which leads me to:

um, what? i think being 48/20 over 35 hands is significantly different than being 48/20 over, say, 1000 hands, and is worth mentioning. maybe you meant that his stats over that amount of hands are meaningless?

I'd call this river. It almost looks like he had the flush draw on the flop and is trying to bet small on the river to scare you into thinking he has a big hand. That's a weak turn bet. I think if he had a set he'd be betting more.

i posted a hand like this yesterday where i had TPGK and was check minraised with a flushdraw out.. everyone just advocated a call and reevaluate the turn... personally im either coming back over the top (plan A) or folding (plan B)

i think that just calling in this spot is very weak as he is now the aggressor in the hand and can lead out for a big bet leaving you just as puzzled as on the flop... just flat calling can give you an even tougher decision on the turn
