Re: Awkward spot with AA
any reads on villain? If he is aggressive and you check behind on the turn, you are going to face an effective push and an even more awkard spot on the river.
With your stack I think you have to decide on the turn whether you are going to call off a river push from villain. If the answer is no, check behind and hope for a c/c river, fold to a push. If yes, push the turn. mho |

Re: Awkward spot with AA
Reads would be nice?
100bbs psb left w/ nut flush draw and top pair I shove. Sets raise on this drawy board and i'd hope KQd fold pf so i'm scared of precisely JJ. |

Re: Awkward spot with AA
How loose do you think villain will call your 3-bets? How loose do you expect him to stack off? I'm inclined to bet here to own KdKx-QdJx, but if he calls 3-bets quite loose this middle ranged flop indicates a check back to me. Here's a stove that shows a bet is pretty close:
equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 48.636% 44.55% 04.09% 294 27.00 { AcAd } Hand 1: 51.364% 47.27% 04.09% 312 27.00 { KcKd, KdKh, KdKs, QcQd, QdQh, QdQs, JJ-TT } You don't have to get called by KK without a diamond very often for it to be clearly good. |

any reads on his 3betting range for calling??
turn card sucked as it completed everything, but i figure a set pops the flop, so i just stick it in there now |

Re: Awkward spot with AA
Raise to $28 PF.
Bet 3/4 - full pot due to board texture. Get in in against QQ and KK = fist pump. Suck out well against JJ. |

[/ QUOTE ] Why are we making it 28$ in position preflop when he made it 3x UTG? I think raising to 26$ IP when its 4x UTG is fine, imo this raise is a little larger then I would have made it anyhow. As far as the turn action I am probably just shoving and hoping to get called behind. |

Re: Awkward spot with AA
wraths, there is a little dead money in the pot, but more importantly, u guys have 160BB stacks, so u typically want to adjust ur betting PF to compensate and discourage set mining if u can

K I didnt notice the call behind PFR, Hero has 100BB stack though? So raise size is fine?
