Default QJs again - i turn 2 pair, but want to nit up

villain is TAGgy, but has maybe a little loser calling standards than most of the regs. Probably a 2p2er. he runs 24/16/1.5, so hes not all that aggro either. He usually 3bets any hand hell play fom the blinds (i only recall him flatting like 2-3 times in 400+ hands vs my CO/Btn opens), and i hadnt ever seen him donk a flop either.

i was playing pretty tight this session, like 22/18, and villain has avoided me for the most part tonight. the only big hand we ha played until that point was a while back, wehre villain raised JJ in MP, i called on button with A9cc.
flop came 9-high, turn was a J, and i called down 3 barrels, so villain might think im stationy if he remembers that hand.

ooh nice... i think. but it just felt like such an obvious spot for for villain to ch/r me and i didnt know if i should be getting it in this deep vs his range. should i b/c or b/f here instead of being a complete vag?

ok whats the plan now? if villain pots it are we calling, raising, or folding?

When a villain does something he normally doesn't do, it is usually a bluff or a very strong hand, which turns your two pair into a bluff catcher. Call a river bet since your hand is underrepresented and he may try to push you off a J or a weak pocket pair. Don't bet if he checks.

Villain is either pretending to be weak and crushing you, or he is actually weak and folding. I guess since the pot is small you can bet a bit, and fold to a raise, but I think he folds a lot of his range to a bet, and the hands he isn't folding are beating you.

not value betting this river is criminal. if he c/r you, then hats off to him.

flop is std. i'm sorta torn on the turn. I think you should bet though, and fold to a c/r as I doubt he's bluffing you on that board. you get value from a few hands on the turn, such as JTs, KTs, QTs, etc.

if Villain pots river...I'd miniraise fold to a push (is this bad?). If he checks, I'm betting. If he check-raises, I'd give it to him the first time.

As for the turn, I think checking behind is ok.

flop range: KT+, QT+, JT+ - Dont really think his donk bet is screaming to get get raised since you've never seen him do this before (though donk bets are generally weak)

turn check seems very close to me...i'd probably bet

so I like a call if he pots the river and a lean toward a bet/call if checked to (villain really cant assume you'll bet river since you checked behind on turn so a check from him is weak on river)

I kinda like the min-raise/fold on river too.

Don't raise him if he bets river pls. If he checks you obviously valuebet here. You'll see AJ a lot here btw.

bet the turn if he c/r then so be it but i think you lose too much value by not betting the turn.
